All of the items from Juniper Ridge are wildcrafted (i.e. made from wild harvested plant material), Hal goes to great lengths to ensure that nothing is harvested in a way that adversely impacts the plants. Hal makes every effort to ensure that the plants used for products in his product line up are harvested in a sustainable and responsible manner. He also donates 10% of his business profits to groups that help defend western wilderness. Wilderness is at the heart of what is important to Hal in his life and he goes through great lengths to protect it!
